"In 2009, I made the switch from 'traditional' college to esthetics school. I was desperate for a change and wanted to do something more creative. I originally started esthetics school to specialize in makeup but soon realized my passion was for skincare. One of my favorite parts of skincare is working one on one with clients and helping them find treatments and products tailored specifically for their skincare needs. There is no better feeling than helping a person feel more confident in their own skin.
Previously I had gone to school in South Carolina, but in 2017 moved to Tennessee, and went back to school to get my Tennessee Esthetics License. Flash forward to June 2020, I launched SKINCARA in the middle of a pandemic. Despite the challenges, I am very grateful to have a business that is not just surviving but thriving during this season. All my appreciation goes to my clients and the Knoxville community for embracing SKINCARA and believing in this vision as much as me."
